Kate and John chose our popular Weekend Wedding Package, allowing them and their guests to slow down, take in each moment, and turn their wedding into a full-on Texas retreat. Their weekend was filled with intentional moments that celebrated both their love story and the Texas Hill Country itself.

The celebration began with a relaxed day of wine tasting in nearby Fredericksburg. Back at The Videre Estate, the second evening featured a rustic-chic rehearsal dinner inside our Stables, transformed into a warm, welcoming space filled with great food, handcrafted cocktails, and the sound of live acoustic music.

On the third day, the couple exchanged vows during an outdoor ceremony overlooking our private 8-acre lake. Surrounded by lush Hill Country greenery and vibrant floral arrangements, Kate and John’s ceremony was both intimate and breathtaking. The setting sun sparkled on the water, and every moment felt straight out of a movie!

Their private estate wedding brought together timeless elegance and relaxed comfort. With a layout designed for flow and beauty, guests moved effortlessly from ceremony to cocktails, enjoying open-air patios and sweeping views of the estate’s 430 acres.

As the sun set, the party moved indoors for an indoor wedding reception in The Videre Estate’s Main Hall, known for its grand windows, bolted wooden ceilings, and marble flooring. A live band kept the energy high—and in one unforgettable moment, John joined the musicians on stage to sing a surprise number!

Guests dined, danced, and celebrated long into the night, with the luxury of staying onsite in our estate lodging. The private setting allowed for a true sense of escape—no curfews, no interruptions, just good times and celebration.
